Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs For a crispy finish.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs Oregano, basil, thyme.
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and finely chopped mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms release their moisture and become tender.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, sautéed mushroom mixture, salt, black pepper, and dried Italian herbs. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in a baking dish. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top for a crispy finish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, then garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve warm with chips, crackers, or toasted bread.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding cooked crumbled sausage or bacon to the dip.
You can use different types of cheese based on your preference, such as cheddar or gouda.
This dip can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. Just bake it right before serving.
