- 4 fillets salmon 6 oz each
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 green onions chopped for garnish, optional
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the salmon fillets, skin side down. Cook for 3-4 minutes without moving them.
Carefully flip the salmon fillets and pour the honey garlic mixture over them. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, spooning the sauce over the fillets as they cook, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from heat and let the salmon rest for a minute.
Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
Adjust the amount of honey based on your preference for sweetness.
You can marinate the salmon in the honey garlic mixture for 30 minutes prior to cooking for an extra burst of flavor.
Serve the salmon with steamed rice and vegetables for a complete meal.
