- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 cup snap peas
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger minced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions chopped for garnish
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional, for garnish
- Cooked rice or quinoa for serving (optional)
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the broccoli florets, sliced bell pepper, and snap peas. Stir-fry the vegetables with the turkey for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Pour this sauce over the turkey and vegetable mixture and stir to combine.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if using.
Serve hot on its own or over cooked rice or quinoa.
Feel free to substitute or add other vegetables like carrots, bell peppers, or zucchini based on your preference.
For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes or a dash of sriracha to the sauce.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
