Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, cooked pasta, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well incorporated.
Add the cooked ground beef mixture to the pasta mixture and stir until everything is evenly combined.
Spray or oil the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour the casserole mixture into the dish, spreading it out evenly.
Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
