Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or similar)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • as needed cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, cooked pasta, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well incorporated.
  • Add the cooked ground beef mixture to the pasta mixture and stir until everything is evenly combined.
  • Spray or oil the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour the casserole mixture into the dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can add vegetables like peas or bell peppers for extra nutrition and flavor.
This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before baking.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
