Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber grated and excess water squeezed out
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • to taste salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper if desired.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
  • Roll the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Drizzle the meatballs with olive oil to help them brown while baking.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and browned on the outside.
  • While the meatballs are baking, prepare the tzatziki sauce. In a separate bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, dill, and salt. Stir until well combined and refrigerate until serving.
  • Once the meatballs are cooked, serve them warm alongside the tzatziki sauce for dipping.

Notes

You can serve these meatballs in pita bread or on a bed of salad for a complete meal.
For extra flavor, you can add spices such as cumin or paprika to the meatball mixture.
Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated before serving.
