  • 8 warm tortillas corn or flour

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 8 small tortillas corn or flour

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, ground cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  • While the shrimp are cooking, prepare the toppings by mixing together the shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, diced avocado, and chopped cilantro. Squeeze lime juice over the mixture and toss gently to combine.
  • Warm the tortillas in a pan or microwave until pliable.
  • To assemble the tacos, place a portion of the cooked shrimp on each tortilla and top with the cabbage and tomato mixture.
  • Serve immediately with additional lime wedges if desired.

Notes

Feel free to customize the toppings according to your taste. You can add salsa, sour cream, or cheese if you prefer.
For extra spiciness, consider adding sliced jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce.
These tacos are best enjoyed fresh but can also be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for leftovers. Reheat the shrimp before serving.
