Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Cool Whip or whipped topping
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup chopped nuts optional
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch of salt salt

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Cool Whip and vanilla extract. Gently fold them together until well blended.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar to the Cool Whip mixture, folding it in until there are no lumps. Be careful not to over-mix.
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts (if using) until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  • Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 1 hour, or until the candy is set.
  • Once frozen, remove the candy from the baking sheet and store in an airtight container in the freezer until ready to serve.

Notes

You can customize these candies by adding different types of nuts or even shredded coconut for extra texture.
If you prefer a richer chocolate flavor, consider melting some chocolate to drizzle over the top before freezing.
Keep these treats in the freezer until you're ready to enjoy them, as they can soften quickly at room temperature.
