Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust according to taste; 3-5 cloves can be used.
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.
  • 8 ounces pasta or rice Optional, if serving with the dish.

Instructions
 

  • If serving with pasta or rice, cook according to package instructions and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Gradually mix in the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce is thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  • If desired, add the cooked pasta or rice to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Adjust the amount of garlic according to your taste preference; 3-5 cloves can be used.
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes when cooking the shrimp.
Serve with a side salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
