- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) corn drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder

- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
Add the black beans, corn, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes.
Transfer the beef and bean mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the beef mixture.
Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
You can customize this casserole by adding your favorite vegetables, such as bell peppers or diced tomatoes.
To make it spicier, consider adding diced jalapeños or hot sauce to the beef mixture.
