Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup instant pudding mix any flavor
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 container Cool Whip 8 oz, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk until well combined. Use an electric mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  • Once the pudding is thick, gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip using a rubber spatula. Be careful to maintain the fluffiness of the Cool Whip.
  • If desired, add the vanilla extract and gently mix until combined.
  • Use the frosting immediately on your dessert, or refrigerate it until ready to use. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

You can use this frosting on cakes, cupcakes, or as a dip for fruit.
