Begin by placing the chicken breasts in the crockpot. If desired, you can lightly coat them with olive oil for added moisture and flavor.
In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
Pour the seasoning mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot. Make sure the chicken is evenly coated.
Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 6 hours. Alternatively, you can set it to high for 3 hours.
Once the cooking time is complete, check that the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Remove the chicken from the crockpot and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing or shredding.
Serve as is, or use the chicken in salads, sandwiches, or wraps. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
