1 air fryer
1 meat thermometer
1 mixing bowl
1 tongs
1 cutting board
1 knife
- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 lbs total.
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs Optional.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
While the air fryer is heating, pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried Italian herbs (if using). Mix well to create a marinade.
Place the chicken breasts in the bowl with the marinade and coat them evenly on both sides.
Once the air fryer is preheated, arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure not to overcrowd them to allow for even cooking.
Cook the chicken breasts for 10 minutes, then flip them over using tongs and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing or serving.
You can marinate the chicken breasts for up to 2 hours ahead of time for more flavor.
Feel free to customize the seasoning to your preference by adding other herbs and spices.
Serve accompanied by vegetables or a salad for a complete meal.
