Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 meat thermometer
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 tongs
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 knife

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 lbs total.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs Optional.

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • While the air fryer is heating, pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried Italian herbs (if using). Mix well to create a marinade.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the bowl with the marinade and coat them evenly on both sides.
  • Once the air fryer is preheated, arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure not to overcrowd them to allow for even cooking.
  • Cook the chicken breasts for 10 minutes, then flip them over using tongs and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing or serving.

Notes

You can marinate the chicken breasts for up to 2 hours ahead of time for more flavor.
Feel free to customize the seasoning to your preference by adding other herbs and spices.
Serve accompanied by vegetables or a salad for a complete meal.
