Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ unit onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup Alfredo sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste unit salt and pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 units hamburger buns
  • for garnish unit fresh parsley, optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for about 3 minutes until soft.
  • Add the minced garlic and ground chicken to the skillet. Cook, stirring frequently, until the chicken is fully cooked and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the Alfredo sauce and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let the mixture simmer for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese until melted and well combined.
  • Toast the hamburger buns lightly if desired. Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture generously onto the bottom half of each bun.
  • Cover with the top half of the buns and garnish with fresh parsley if using. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can use leftover rotisserie chicken for a quicker option; just shred it and mix it with the Alfredo sauce.
For added flavor, consider adding sautéed bell peppers or mushrooms to the mixture.
This dish pairs well with a side salad or crispy potato wedges.
