Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces ripe pears
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped Can substitute with pecans or almonds.
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • a pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Carefully peel the pears and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and cores using a knife or a spoon.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Place the pear halves in a baking dish, cut side up. Spoon the cream cheese mixture generously over each pear.
  • Sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top of the cream cheese filling.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the pears are tender and the topping is lightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  • You can serve these baked pears warm or at room temperature.
  • For an extra touch, serve with a scoop of your favorite vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
