Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ½ cup chopped peanuts for topping, optional
  • to taste chocolate shavings or drizzle for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and softened cream cheese. Using an electric mixer, blend until smooth and well combined.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the peanut butter mixture. Continue mixing until everything is fully incorporated and the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with the granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture using a rubber spatula until well combined. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream too much.
  • Pour the peanut butter cream mixture into the prepared graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly with the spatula.
  • Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours to allow it to set properly.
  • Before serving, optionally sprinkle the top with chopped peanuts and chocolate shavings or drizzle some melted chocolate on top for garnish.

Notes

For an even richer flavor, consider using crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy.
You can prepare the pie a day in advance; it often tastes even better after sitting overnight in the refrigerator.
If desired, you can use a homemade graham cracker crust instead of a pre-made one for a fresher taste.
