Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes About 2 lbs.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste fresh parsley Optional for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Cut the sweet potatoes into evenly sized cubes, about 1-inch in size for even cooking.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add the sweet potato cubes to the bowl and toss them in the oil and spice mixture until fully coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Once preheated, place the sweet potato cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the air fryer size.
  • Cook the sweet potatoes for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • After 15 minutes, check for doneness; the sweet potatoes should be tender and crispy. If necessary, cook for an additional 5 minutes until they reach the desired crispiness.
  • Once cooked, remove the sweet potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute.
  • Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences; you can add chili powder for more heat or cinnamon for a sweeter taste.
