  • 1 Air fryer
  • 1 Baking tray or air fryer basket
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 set Measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 Spatula or tongs

Ingredients

  • 8 oz tortilla chips
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup black beans canned, drained, and rinsed
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes fresh or canned
  • ¼ cup sliced jalapeños pickled or fresh
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup guacamole
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions optional
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • to taste salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the tortilla chips, shredded cheddar cheese, black beans, diced tomatoes, jalapeños, chili powder, and salt. Toss gently to distribute the ingredients evenly among the chips.
  • Place a single layer of the nacho mixture in the air fryer basket or on a baking tray that fits your air fryer. Ensure the chips are not overcrowded for even cooking.
  • Cook the nachos in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  • Once cooked, carefully remove the nachos from the air fryer using tongs or a spatula.
  • Serve immediately with sour cream, guacamole, and chopped green onions on the side or drizzled on top as desired.

Notes

Feel free to customize your nachos with additional toppings such as cooked chicken, ground beef, or various vegetables.
To make them spicier, consider adding more jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce before serving.
