Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs About 1.5 lbs.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy skin.
  • Rub the marinade all over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are coated evenly, including under the skin if possible.
  • Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side up, ensuring they are not crowded.
  • Cook the chicken thighs for 25 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even crispiness.
  • Check the internal temperature of the chicken using a meat thermometer; it should read at least 165°F (75°C).
  • Once fully cooked, remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken thighs for a few hours or overnight in the fridge.
You can adjust the spices to suit your taste. Adding cayenne pepper can give it a nice kick if you enjoy heat.
Serve with your choice of side dishes, such as roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
